The medieval walled town of Conwy has a foreboding castle overlooking the town, as well as a picturesque quay. For a small town such as Conwy, the choice of places to eat is surprisingly good. There’s a wide variety of options and many of the pubs in Conwy's centre serve really good food from both their bar menus and more restaurant style meals. There are several tea rooms and smaller bistros/restaurants to choose from too, many using locally produced food and seasonal produce. Conwy plays host to the Conwy Honey Fair and the Gwledd Conwy Feast amongst a varied programme of annual events.
